Oriel College Boat Club is currently looking for sponsors

Sponsoring a society at Oxford University is a great way to appeal to a young, talented and highly employable audience across one of the country's top Universities.

Rowing at Oxford is one of the most visible sports at the University, both within the colleges - most students try it at some point and continue to maintain an active interest - and throughout the University - the collegiate races attract huge crowds, with typically well over 15,000 spectators attending the Saturday of Summer Eights! Oriel College Boat Club is one of the largest college boat clubs and, in addition to being one of the most successful clubs, frequently sends crews and rowers to other well known rowing races including The Head of the River race in London and The University Boat Race, currently televised live on the BBC. The Club is also proud of its Olympians, most recently Peter Reed (Great Britain, Gold Medal Coxless 4, Beijing 2008), Sjoerd Hamburger (Netherlands, Beijing 2008) and Mike Wherley (USA, Athens 2004 and Sydney 2000).

We offer our sponsors a presence on our website, on our racing boats and other equipment, and on our kit, giving the sponsor great publicity within Oxford and at all external events attended. Oriel students are proud to wear their Oriel Boat Club kit - expect to see it donned by many a spectator at the London 2012 Olympic Rowing Regatta at Dorney Lake.

The College has produced a brochure, showcasing what we have to offer potential sponsors. If you would be interested in finding out more, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please do not hesitate to contact the current Sponsorship Secretary, Will Sheldon, either by email or in writing to the following address:
