![]() | Max Lau - Captain of BoatsAs the Captain of Boats, I oversee all club activities and have specific duties to organise coaching, training and socials on the Men's side of the Club. I started rowing at school and then at St. Andrews where I was Captain and then President of the boat club, winning the Scottish University Championships. I was vice-captain last year and a part of the Headship winning 1st VIII. Away from the river, I am a 2nd Year DPhil student studying History. Please contact me with any general queries about the Men's side of the boat club. Zara Milne - Women's Captain of BoatsHeya I'm Zara, the Women's Captain of Boats at OCBC. Together with my Vice Captain, Maire, I'm in charge of the running of the Women's Boat Club. I learnt to row, both scull and sweep, as a junior at Upper Thames Rowing Club. After rowing competitively for them for 3 years and also rowing and coaching at my sixth form, The Henley College, I left the sport at 17 but was tempted back when I came to Oriel last year. I'm a 2nd year medic so have a fairly busy timetable but am always around college to chat, should you have any queries or wish to know more about rowing. Alternatively, contact me by e-mail. |
